Touch The Sky

Journal Entry: Tue Jan 22, 2008, 10:03 PM
As requested by :iconqueenannidala: I need to write a new journal.

I've been way busy with school so not much submitting going on these days so I've been 'lurking'.

Anyways, today in Chemistry (last period), I finished the first side of our worksheet and then went over to the window and completely lost myself in my thoughts (its a really good way of wasting time =P). The day was quite pleasant with the sun shining, crisp air and I also had perfect view of the mountains (which are now covered with snow). Over head not one cloud was to be seen so I saw an airliner jet fly overhead with it leaving a really long contrail. The sun's rays hitting the contrails was a truly wonderful site. Definitely a day that I wish i wasn't stuck in school.

One of my pictures was also featured in the journal of :iconaimelle: I would really like to thank her for selecting it . She also asked me what I find special about it so I responded with my best answer. The other art featured is utter class (especially the digital art) so I kind of feel out of place but it makes me proud of what i've done (even though i think that my gallery is kind of crap)
If you would like to see the journal and features: [link]

I seriously hated Chemistry... so I totally understand the lost thoughts concept whilst in that class. Haha.
Congrats on the picture feature! :D

thanks! ya i'm doing really bad in the class. I'm only taking it because I need it to be a doctor (i think i told you before). Even last year, i wasn't that good with it. I think I should start trying now though =D

Did you know that 99.9% of the time, people will believe you if you have a statistic to back you up?

Yeah.. I did pretty bad in Chem this semester too... but that probably had to do with the fact that my teacher was a constant safety threat (she had a blonde moment and spilled concentrated liquid ethanol on a kids arm giving him burns, oh yeah and forgot to give us gloves and lab aprons when we were working with 6 mol/L HCl!) so I deemed her unfit to listen to.

I'm glad I'll never need chemistry for my future... I'm looking into frelance writer with a back-up plan of escaping to Tuscany to live a subsistance only lifestyle. :)

I think the back up plan to Tuscany sounds great. Our teachers a brunette so she doesn't have the blonde moments but shes really good about safety procedures that we're supposed to follow. What happened to the kid?

Chemical burns... potential future scars. Plus, of course, it had to be the kid with the hole in his heart, on his like third day back after recovering from open-heart... :( Life is weird sometimes.

The sad thing is that she didn't... but I've logged a complaint with the head of our school's Chemistry department; hopefully it will prompt them to put her under review.
